I have found a new interest. And that is tweeting. My talented web designer, Laura who I also like to call my friend, suggested that I start tweeting. She felt that it would be one way of telling people about my book. Of course with everything there is a learning curve. But I’ve always enjoyed a challenge. And I’m having a lot of fun with it. I love retweeting information from my followers who appear to be a very talented group of individuals.

And I enjoy retweeting photographers from around the world. Some of the pictures are spectacular. So feel free to follow me, or check my twitter page. You may enjoy it.

Hello everyone. Apologize for not blogging sooner. But here I am. Better late than never as the saying goes.

Just went to see the movie Revenant with Leonardo decaprio and Tom Hardy. I reviewed a synopsis of the storyline. Which I like to do before seeing a movie. And today was a Tuesday special, so off I went. I am not a movie critic but will give you a summary so you can decide if you perhaps would also enjoy seeing it. Acting is superb. I see Oscar nominations for both Leonardo and Tom Which would be rightly deserved. The cinematography is exceptional and I predict a nomination for this as well. What did bother me was the bear attack. Perhaps a little too long and graphic. I had to shut my eyes a few times throughout. It was so realistic that Leonardo’s mental and physical pain is quite palpable. And you live his pain throughout the movie. But then everyone will have a different opinion.

There were a few areas in the movie where the killings were quite graphic. But again you will have to decide for yourself.

Today I visited one of my favourite sites: Allan’s Gardens. There my eyes got to feast on a lovely collection of plants and flowers. The colors and the settings were magnificent thanks to a talented group of staff who with a magical touch created an oasis in the city. As you may know I enjoy tweeting, and my tweets usually are sent from different landmarks and interesting tourist areas in Toronto.
